Description
Johnny Alpha is a mutant bounty hunter and the central character of Strontium Dog, created by John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra and first appearing in Starlord #1 in 1978 before the title merged with 2000 AD. Set in a future Earth where mutants are segregated and relegated to harsh work, he is a member of the Search/Destroy Agency, a bounty-hunter organization composed almost entirely of mutants. The series has run for decades in 2000 AD and is considered one of the publication's defining strips.
