Tar Pit

Tar Pit is Joseph Monteleone, a criminal whose consciousness became trapped within a molten asphalt form, granting him superhuman strength and near invulnerability. He can generate intense heat and hurl flaming tar projectiles while ensnaring foes in his sticky, toxic body.

Once able to astrally project into objects, Tar Pit's current form is a living mass of tar that regenerates when damaged. He is a recurring adversary of the Flash and has been involved with various villainous groups in Central City.
