Carlos "Chuck" Gutierrez was a laid-off web designer with emphysema and only 97 dollars in his bank account who dressed up as a superhero every weekend to visit children at Metropolis City Center Hospital. Unfortunately, Gutierrez was shot and killed by an Unseen Terror when dressed as Superman via an untraceable, vanishing bullet.
