Mojo is an obese alien warlord who rules a dimension known as the Mojoverse, built entirely around a television industry that broadcasts gladiatorial entertainment for its captive population. He first appeared in New Mutants Annual #2 in 1986, created by writer Ann Nocenti and artist Arthur Adams. His primary obsession is capturing mutants such as the X-Men to use as unwilling performers in his televised spectacles.
