Scooby-Doo
CharacterDescription
Scooby-Doo is a talking Great Dane and the title character of the animated franchise that debuted in 1969, developed by Hanna-Barbera and character designer Iwao Takamoto. He travels with a group of teenage mystery solvers known as Mystery, Inc., including his closest companion Shaggy as well as Fred, Daphne, and Velma. Despite being easily frightened and strongly motivated by food, Scooby is reliably present when the gang investigates seemingly supernatural cases that consistently prove to have ordinary explanations. He speaks in a distinctive pattern, replacing many consonants with the letter R.
