Description

Sergeant Circle, known as Sarge, is the gruff commanding non-commissioned officer in Harvey Comics' Sad Sack series. Potbellied and demanding, he serves as the primary authority figure standing between the hapless Private Sad Sack and any chance of an easy life in the army. The Sad Sack series, originally created by George Baker, ran for decades through Harvey Comics and made Sarge one of the most familiar supporting characters in military humor comics.
