Professor Zachary Zapotec is a scientist in the Italian Disney comics, based at the museum in Mouseton. With his colleague Doctor Marlin he built a working time machine, and the pair regularly send Mickey Mouse and Goofy into the past to settle historical mysteries.
Created by Massimo De Vita, Zapotec first appeared in 1979 and anchors a long-running cycle of time travel adventures published mainly in Topolino.
