Kup is the Autobot veteran, the oldest soldier in most Transformers continuities. He transforms into a pickup truck, carries an antique wrist blaster, and chews a cy-gar. Mentor and minder to the younger Autobots, most famously Hot Rod, he came to prominence in The Transformers: The Movie in 1986.
