Abel is a horror anthology host in DC Comics, introduced in 1969 to narrate stories in The House of Secrets. He is depicted as the gentler brother of Cain, host of the companion title The House of Mystery, with the pair styled after the biblical Cain and Abel. Later stories tie Abel and his house into the wider Dreaming mythology explored in The Sandman.
