Biography

Josep Tello Gonzalez is a Spanish comic artist from Barcelona who began his career assisting artist Boixcar before working for the British Fleetway agency and drawing horror comics for Charlton in the 1960s. Through agent Antonio Gil-Bao he began working for the Danish publisher Gutenberghus, now Egmont, in 1971, becoming one of its leading Mickey Mouse and Goofy artists through the 1970s. Rising demand for his Disney work led him to found the studio Tello Art in 1983.
