Tsugumi Ohba is the pen name of a Japanese manga writer whose real identity has never been publicly disclosed. Ohba is best known as the writer of Death Note, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2003 to 2006, and its follow-up Bakuman, both illustrated by Takeshi Obata.
