Makoto Raiku is a Japanese manga artist born in Gifu in 1974. After assisting on Kazuhiro Fujita's Ushio and Tora, he launched Konjiki no Gash!! (Zatch Bell!) in 2001, later an anime by Toei Animation and winner of the 48th Shogakukan Manga Award.
