Yasumi Yoshizawa is a Japanese manga writer best known for creating Dokonjou Gaeru, a comedy series about a frog who becomes imprinted on a student's shirt. The manga was adapted into a long-running anime series beginning in 1972 and remade for television in 2015. His work has remained a fixture of classic Japanese children's entertainment across generations.
