Satoshi Ikezawa is a Japanese manga artist who debuted in the early 1970s and broke through with Circuit no Ohkami, a racing manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1975 to 1979. The 27-volume series was adapted into a live-action film in 1977. He returned to the franchise with Circuit no Ohkami II, serialized in Weekly Playboy, which was later adapted into an OVA.
