Ken Bruzenak

American comics letterer born August 30, 1952. He became the industry's first widely recognized celebrity letterer through his work on Howard Chaykin's American Flagg! beginning in 1983, where his typographic approach treated lettering as a distinct visual element. He has lettered much of Chaykin's work since, including Blackhawk, Black Kiss, and American Century.
