Biography
Jon J Muth is an American artist and writer known for his painted, watercolor-driven comics. He entered the industry on Epic Comics' Moonshadow, the 1985 limited series he illustrated from a script by J.M. DeMatteis, and later contributed to Neil Gaiman's Sandman. His fine-art approach earned him an Eisner Award for his painting on The Mystery Play. Muth has since built an acclaimed career in children's picture books, writing and illustrating titles such as Stone Soup and Zen Shorts.
