Timothy Truman is an American comics writer and artist born in West Virginia in 1956. He trained at The Kubert School and was a key figure in the 1980s independent comics movement, co-creating Grimjack with writer John Ostrander at First Comics. He also created the post-apocalyptic series Scout and wrote Hawkworld for DC Comics, a reimagining of Hawkman.
