Biography

An American comic book letterer whose career began at Marvel in 1978. After staff roles at both Marvel and DC, Morelli became Archie Comics' primary hand letterer, a position he held for decades. His work on Afterlife with Archie earned him the 2015 Harvey Award for Best Letterer. He is also a logo designer whose lettering style served as the basis for a font used by writer-artist John Byrne.
