Willie Schubert

Willie Schubert is an American comic book letterer whose career began in the mid-1980s, primarily with DC Comics. His extensive credits include Batman, Nightwing, Robin, Catwoman, and a long run of Star Wars titles for Dark Horse including the Tales of the Jedi series. He also worked for Marvel and First Comics. Schubert was among the early letterers to digitize his hand-lettering style, making the transition to digital methods in 1989.
