Gerhard is a Canadian artist known by his mononym, best recognized for providing detailed background art and inking on Dave Sim's Cerebus the Aardvark. He joined the series at issue 65 in 1984 and continued through its conclusion at issue 300 in 2004. He also contributed cover colors and occasional photography to the series.
