An American cartoonist who began as a Disney animator in 1934, contributing to Pinocchio, Fantasia, and Bambi before transitioning to comics. From 1947 he worked primarily for Western Publishing on Dell and Gold Key titles, drawing stories featuring Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and other Disney characters. His Disney comic work continued for more than three decades until he retired in 1978.
