Biography

Scottish comic book writer known for unconventional storytelling and meta-textual narratives. Their early work includes Animal Man and Doom Patrol at DC, followed by the creator-owned series The Invisibles.

At DC, they wrote JLA, All-Star Superman with Frank Quitely, and an extended Batman saga including Batman R.I.P. and Batman and Robin. They later wrote Action Comics during the New 52 and The Green Lantern.
