J. Michael Straczynski is an American writer who works across television, film, and comics. He created the television series Babylon 5 and wrote the films Changeling and Thor.

In comics, his work includes a seven-year run on Amazing Spider-Man, Supreme Power, Rising Stars, and Superman: Earth One for DC. He also contributed to Before Watchmen. Straczynski has received multiple Hugo Awards and an Eisner Award.
