John Barber

John Barber is an American comics editor and writer. He joined Marvel's editorial staff in 2004, working on the Ultimate line and the Dark Tower series. He moved to IDW Publishing in 2011 as Senior Editor, overseeing the Hasbro licensed titles including Transformers and G.I. Joe before becoming IDW's Editor-in-Chief in 2018. As a writer, Barber has over 100 credits on IDW's Transformers titles, making him one of the most prolific contributors to that franchise.
