Tom Frame (1931-2006) was a British comics letterer best known for his work on 2000 AD, where he lettered more than 300 stories including the majority of the Judge Dredd strips. He developed a personal font based on his hand-drawn style and cut speech balloons by hand, a technique that influenced later letterers including Richard Starkings. He also lettered Transformers and Sonic the Comic.
