Hannah Rose May delivers again with issue #3. The pacing is fast but it never feels rushed, and the story hits hard. Ivy is front and center here trying to make sense of the chaos around her while her world keeps spiraling, and May does a great job putting you right in her shoes. You genuinely feel for these girls as things keep getting worse and the people around them keep dropping.
What makes this issue work beyond the horror is the human villains layered underneath the supernatural ones. Perry and Purple are exactly the kind of monsters that make your skin crawl in a different way than the Entity, and the tension between the industry predators and the curse itself keeps things interesting. Cannot wait to see both of them get what is coming to them. Issue #4 cannot get here fast enough.
