Description
Archie stumbles onto one of the title's most remembered running gags here, though this first outing is later revealed to be a dream. In it, Archie imagines calling on a hidden inner strength to become Pureheart the Powerful, a caped strongman who only keeps his abilities as long as his heart stays truly good.
In the lead story, Cold Cash, a costumed crook called Mr. Ice Cube sets his sights on Mr. Lodge's fortune, giving the newly imagined hero his first real test. Frank Doyle scripted the debut, with Bob White and Marty Epp on art and Mario Acquaviva inking and lettering the Cold Cash story.
