DC ships four annuals on the same Wednesday, an unusually heavy stack of one-shots from one publisher. Batman/Superman: World's Finest 2026 Annual, Detective Comics 2026 Annual, DC's Hawk-Girl Summer, and Superman 2026 Annual: Year One Thousand all land July 29.
Superman 2026 Annual: Year One Thousand follows directly from this summer's DC K.O. crossover. Joshua Williamson writes it, with art from Eddy Barrows and Yasmine Putri. Superman rejected the Heart of Apokolips after DC K.O. and is now using the Time Trapper's power to repair the future Darkseid's Legion damaged, though his own power is fading fast. CBR and Bleeding Cool both tie the issue to a Legion of Super-Heroes return.
