Description
Superior Spider-Man (2024) is an eight-issue Marvel limited series written by Dan Slott, with Christos Gage co-writing its later chapters, and drawn by Mark Bagley with colors by Edgar Delgado. It revives the premise of Slott's 2013 run, following Otto Octavius, the villain better known as Doctor Octopus, as he once again seizes the Spider-Man identity and insists he is the only hero worthy of it. Restored to his own body yet unwilling to stop being superior, Otto is drawn into conflict with Supernova, a powered woman he wronged while impersonating Peter Parker, while his fractured bond with Anna Maria Marconi anchors the story. Peter Parker is forced into an uneasy alliance with his old enemy as the run builds toward Otto's decisive turn back toward villainy in the final issue.
