Alice Forever After closes out Dan Panosian and Giorgio Spalletta's dark reimagining of Lewis Carroll's Wonderland, following Alice Ever After and Alice Never After from BOOM! Studios. Years after her original adventures, Alice lives quietly in Victorian London, raising her young daughter Evelyn on her own. She has begun writing a memoir about her time in Wonderland, a manuscript that threatens to expose her estranged father's business dealings.

Beyond the looking glass, Wonderland itself is decaying. A resentful Cheshire Cat searches for a way to repair it, and this time his attention falls on Evelyn rather than Alice. As the Caterpillar and other old acquaintances resurface in London, Alice must reckon with unresolved guilt from her past while trying to protect her daughter and her fragile grip on reality.

Panosian and Spalletta split the art duties between the two worlds, rendering London's grounded drama and Wonderland's crumbling fantasy in contrasting styles.
