Spider-Verse (2014)
This two issue anthology miniseries ties into the wider Spider-Verse crossover, in which the vampiric Inheritors hunt down spider powered heroes across the multiverse. Each issue gathers short stories spotlighting alternate spider people who rarely appear elsewhere. It includes Penelope Parker, an eleven year old bitten by a spider on a school trip, and Steampunk Lady Spider, a version of May Reilly from the alternate world of Earth-803.
Later pages add a video game inspired Spider-Man, a punk rock take on the hero, a fairy tale version, and El Espiritu de las Calles, a Spanish language spider hero from Mexico. The collection was gathered into the Spider-Verse trade paperback.
