Disney Hercules (2024)
Dynamite Entertainment's Disney Hercules continues the story of the Disney animated film's demigod, now living as a mortal hero who still answers the call when the gods of Olympus need help in the earthly realm. Writer Elliott Kalan and artist George Kambadais send Hercules through a run of largely standalone adventures, opening with a living statue that turns rowdy after Aphrodite grants a sculptor's wish, then following the mystery when the goddess of love suddenly disappears. Familiar faces from the movie return, including Megara, Pegasus, Phil, and Zeus, alongside a wider cast drawn from Greek myth. The six-issue series pairs broad comedy with the sincere heart of the original film.
