The Mortal Thor (2025)

Thor is dead, and in his place walks Sigurd Jarlson, a man with no powers, no memory and no fame. He wakes into an ordinary life in a world that never believed Asgard was real.

Al Ewing carries on the story he began in The Immortal Thor, picking up from the god's death and following what is left of him down to street level. Pasqual Ferry, Juann Cabal and Jesus Saiz trade off on interior art, with Alex Ross on covers.

A second strand runs alongside it. In the Tales of Asgard back-ups, Magni Thorson faces the question of who should inherit a Golden Realm now cut off from Midgard.

The mortal chapters draw on street-level foes such as the Serpent, Mister Hyde, Cobra and the Minotaur, while the Asgard chapters keep company with Balder, Sif, the Enchantress and the Warriors Three.
