The Wanderers (1988)

A spin-off from the Legion of Super-Heroes following a team of heroes who are killed and then resurrected with altered bodies and upgraded powers by their Controller mentor Clonus. Written by Doug Moench with art initially by Steve Dillon, the 13-issue series gave the Wanderers an independent storyline separate from the Legion. Each member returned with a redesigned physiology and new codename.
