Description
My Little Pony: Legends of Magic is a twelve issue IDW series written by Jeremy Whitley that fills in the early history of Equestria. When Sunburst uncovers a set of journals written by the wizard Star Swirl the Bearded, the legends inside reveal how six gifted ponies became the heroes later remembered as the Pillars of Old Equestria. Each arc follows one of them, among them Rockhoof, Mistmane, Flash Magnus, Mage Meadowbrook, Somnambula and Star Swirl himself, as they grow into their roles long before the events of Friendship Is Magic. The series picked up the slot left by Friends Forever and closed out in the Legends of Magic Annual 2018.
