The Metabarons traces the generations of a dynasty of genetically and mechanically perfected warriors, spun off from Alejandro Jodorowsky's The Incal. Each Metabaron is maimed by his father as a rite of passage and fitted with cybernetic replacements, and succession is only won by defeating the father in combat. Juan Gimenez's baroque art renders the family's operatic, Dune-inflected saga across space empires and generations.
