A 1987 Spider-Man storyline by J.M. DeMatteis and Mike Zeck, running across Amazing Spider-Man #293-294, Spectacular Spider-Man #131-132, and Web of Spider-Man #31-32.
Kraven the Hunter captures Spider-Man, drugs him, and buries him alive. Kraven then dons a Spider-Man costume to prove he can be superior. The arc also introduces the villain Vermin.
