How to Enable Pull List Notifications on VerseDB

Stay ahead of new comic releases by enabling Pull List notifications on VerseDB. This feature sends you weekly email reminders about your issues releasing the next day.

How to Enable Weekly Email Notifications

Global Email Settings

To enable notifications for all series:

  1. Click your profile icon and go to Settings
  2. Find the Notifications section
  3. Toggle on Pull List email notifications

With global notifications enabled, you'll receive emails about all active series in your pull list.

Per-Series Notification Settings

Want notifications for only specific series?

  1. Go to your Pull List in the Dashboard
  2. Find the series and click Edit
  3. Toggle Notify on Release on or off
  4. Save your changes

This lets you receive notifications only for your most important series while keeping your inbox manageable.

What's Included in the Weekly Email?

Your weekly Pull List email contains:

  • This week's releases from your subscribed series
  • Cover images for each issue
  • Issue details (series, issue number, title, release date, price)
  • Direct links to each issue's page on VerseDB

Emails are sent every **Tuesday at 2 PM Eastern** - giving you time to prepare before new comics hit shelves on Wednesday.

Understanding the Comic Week Schedule

Comic releases follow a Wednesday to Tuesday schedule:

  • New comics release on Wednesdays (New Comic Book Day)
  • Your weekly email covers releases from Wednesday through the following Tuesday
  • Emails arrive Tuesday afternoon so you know what's coming

Managing Your Email Preferences

What Gets Included?

  • Issues from active series
  • Issues not marked as skipped
  • Series with Notify on Release enabled

What's Excluded?

  • Issues from paused or canceled series
  • Issues you've skipped
  • Series with notifications disabled

Troubleshooting Notification Issues

If you're not receiving your weekly Pull List email:

**Email Settings**: Verify notifications are enabled in your profile settings **Email Address**: Confirm your registered email is correct **Spam/Junk Folder**: Check if emails are being filtered **Active Series**: Ensure you have active series with upcoming releases **Per-Series Settings**: Check that Notify on Release is enabled for your series
