Parademons
Parademons are Darkseid's winged, insect-like foot soldiers from Apokolips. Jack Kirby created them for New Gods #1 (1971). Bred for war and stripped of free will, they fight in Darkseid's armies and carry brutal Mega-Rod weapons.
