Batman

Batman is one of the most iconic superheroes in comic book history, created by artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger. First appearing in Detective Comics #27 in 1939, Batman is the alter ego of Bruce Wayne, a wealthy industrialist who witnesses his parents' murder as a child and dedicates his life to fighting crime in Gotham City. Unlike many superheroes, Batman has no superhuman powers, relying instead on his intellect, detective skills, physical prowess, martial arts expertise, and an array of high-tech gadgets and vehicles. The character has been featured in countless comic book series across DC Comics.
