Casey the Cop is a bumbling beat patrolman created by Henry Boltinoff for DC's one page gag strips. His misadventures ran as filler across the company's line from the 1940s into the 1960s, appearing most often in the crime and mystery titles such as Detective Comics and Batman.
The strips are silent slapstick more than stories, built on a single visual joke per page. Casey has no connection to DC's superhero continuity.
