Jerry the Jitterbug is a gag filler created by Henry Boltinoff for DC. His one and two-page strips ran between the lead stories in Action Comics and Detective Comics from the early 1940s into the 1950s, written, drawn and lettered by Boltinoff himself. The name plays on the jitterbug dance craze.
