Court of Owls
Description
The Court of Owls is a secret society in DC Comics, created by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo for their acclaimed Batman run beginning in 2011. Composed of Gotham City's oldest and wealthiest families, the Court has manipulated the city from the shadows since its founding, hidden behind a children's nursery rhyme. The organization enforces its will through the Talons, undead assassins revived from a chemically preserved sleep. Their emergence challenges Batman's belief that he truly knows his own city. The Court has since become a defining part of modern Gotham mythology.
