Zipi Zapatilla is one half of a twin brother duo created by cartoonist Jose Escobar for the Spanish comic Pulgarcito in 1948. Blond and football obsessed, Zipi gets into constant trouble alongside his dark haired twin Zape, the two barely distinguishable except for hair color. Their name comes from the Spanish word zipizape, meaning chaos, and the strip remains one of Spain's most popular and widely translated comics.
