Francisco Ibanez created Filemon for the magazine Pulgarcito in 1958, one half of Mortadelo y Filemon. Short, pudgy and balding, he is Mortadelo's boss at the T.I.A., a spy outfit that spoofs the CIA, and he spends most of every story exasperated. The series has run past 200 albums.
