Francisco Ibanez created Mortadelo for the magazine Pulgarcito in 1958. He is one half of Mortadelo y Filemon, a tall bald agent of the T.I.A. who calls himself a master of disguise. The costumes fool no one, much to the despair of his partner Filemon.
