Description

Mr. Mxyzptlk is a mischievous imp from the Fifth Dimension and one of Superman's most persistent comedic antagonists, first appearing in Superman #30 in 1944. A near-omnipotent being who can alter reality at will, he can only be banished back to his dimension by being tricked into speaking his name backwards. He has appeared across decades of Superman comics as a source of surreal, rule-breaking stories that play with the genre's conventions.
