Fantasio is a reporter and the adventurous partner of Spirou in the classic Franco-Belgian comic series published by Dupuis. Taller and more impulsive than his companion, Fantasio joins Spirou, their squirrel Spip, and eccentric inventor the Count of Champignac on globetrotting adventures. The Spirou et Fantasio series has been running since 1938, with Fantasio a central figure in it from its early decades.
