American writer who joined Archie Comics in 1959 and co-created Sabrina Spellman with artist Dan DeCarlo in Archie's Madhouse in 1962. The character later inspired animated series and a live-action show. He also served as head writer for Cracked magazine for approximately 30 years and received the 2007 Bill Finger Award.
