Daisuke Ashihara is a Japanese manga artist best known for World Trigger, a science fiction series following a military organization that defends Earth from dimensional invaders. The series began in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2013, later transferred to Jump Square, and has been adapted into multiple anime seasons. Ashihara debuted in 2008 when his short story Room 303 received second place in the 75th Tezuka Awards.
